Iced Citrus Miso Caramel Latte

This Iced Koatji Latte is a rich blend of Koatji Milk, sweet Pistachio-Miso Caramel and Espresso, balanced with a hint of citrus. A refreshing, umami-packed twist on your classic iced latte!

MISO/PISTACHIO CARAMEL


INGREDIENTS

45g Sugar, cane 
18g Miso, white, sweet 
25g Pistachio Butter, smooth
2g Vanilla extract 
55g Koatji milk
Pinch of Sea salt

PROCESS

1. Whisk together Miso, Pistachio Butter and Koatji milk.

2. Strain the Miso/Pistachio Milk through an ultra fine mesh strainer

3. Heat up a pot with the sugar and let the sugar caramelise into a golden caramel.

4. Whisk in the Miso/Pistachio Milk little by little and let it boil until into a homogenous caramel5. Cool down the pistachio caramel, add the vanilla extract.



FINAL DRINK

INGREDIENTS
25g Espresso 
100g Koatji Milk
20g Miso/Pistachio Caramel
Orange and Lemon Peel


PROCESS

1. Fill up a cup with ice cubes

2. Add the Miso/Pistachio Caramel, 1 lemon, 1 orange peel, Koatji Milk and a few ice cubes into a shaker.

3. Give it a 10 sec. hard shake.

4. Pour the caramel-milk over the ice and slowly add in the espresso

5. Top the drink with steamed Koatji Milk foam
